July 13, 2011 - Black wednesday ..yet again..!!!

Bomb blasts in Bomb hey...!!!!!

Once again the terrorists have stuck the economic capital of India, spilling blood over the crowded places in mumbai...all these shoutings, blame games people's sympathy, helplessness, support and co ordination will continue for few days and then will not return to the core until yet another deadly strike happens and few more are added to the graves...

India with a population of 120 crores plus doesn't have any person who can deal with this in a stern way...
whatever may be the reports about wednesday's or friday's, dates such as 11, 13 or 26 nothing is gonna change ...all these comparisons or media cry will not work for the hapless mumbaikars who have become the children of destiny...Severe intelligenc failure, security breach will not affect these politicians who will appear in public during such incidents to pay tributes to the souls or to console the affected...
All this hypocrisy will run and continue to run...

Neither there is any co ordination between various state governments and the central government in curbing this menace...might be they have joined hands with the terrorists for population control...
much said about this...whether it is done by HUJI or Taliban or SIMI whatever may be...they continue to rock and rock...and the common man accepts a crushing defeat in every thing...

The Central government boasts of its friendship policy with Pak which can never sustain India's development, progress and prosperity, while the centre plays double standards with the children of this country...Pak continues to humiliate, disturb in India in all possible ways but still we give them a smile, while our own people revolt against the government for worst governance and they are branded as Extremists/Naxalites and high profile operation is used to silence them...while Pak continues to use their technology to disturb peace in the sub continent...What a tyranny and hypocrisy...!!!!!!!

Youth unrest in Telengana...!!!

Telangana... This topic has become the favorite topic for politicians now and every one is enjoying that using it for their own selfish purposes...
Politicians are using it to fulfill their ulterior motives, they are using the college students (who are always their hot favorites) to participate in the strikes (which is now slowly turning into a battle) and college students are using it according to their whims and fancies...(bunking classes, falsely thinking that they are doing a noble deed by participating in this struggle)...
The central government has become very feeble in handling this situation while the Andhra pradesh state government has become a mute spectator...where one party is taking the entire state into ransom...

Whatever may be the motive of this struggle, the central government has to take a stern stance in diffusing the situation...It should place all the facts and figures before the public and evince public opinion and take action accordingly...and politics should be kept thousand miles away while dealing with these kind of matters which have the potential to turn into a political storm...yet COMMON MAN will be the target and the victim...

Property worth crores of rupees would be damaged, innocent lives would be lost and this is not a gud sign for any country which is trying very hard to develop and rank amongst the developed nations...

Deteriorating law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh..!!!

" Yatra naryastu pujyanthe ramante tatra devataha"
( Gods reside, where women are worshipped)

This is a very popular saying in Sanskrit about Indian cultural values for women..
Women were held in high esteem in primordial times, but now a day has come where in India has become a very unsafe place for women..Rising instances of offense against women, rising female foeticide and adding to it the plight of women in BIMARU states of India (Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh) is pathetic.

The whole nation was dumb struck and shook its head in utter despair, when Uttar Pradesh reported 11 rape cases in a span of 10 days. The naked truth that cops were also directly involved in few cases has made every girl in this country feel nervous about their own existence. Today there are unable to judge who is the enemy...
It may be her father, brother, husband, relative, known person etc... the whole man folk has become her night mare...
Not to mix politics with these issues, this is the time where there are N number of laws being drafted and enacted for women empowerment, but still women have become and are becoming scape goats...!!!

It's also surprising that our President is a woman, Congress Party President (most powerful woman in India) is also a woman, UP is led by Mayawathi, Lok sabha speaker is also a woman, yet and yet we can see these things only in India....Any state government for that matter has to take stringent action against the perpetrators and guilty should be punished...these are not goodd for any upcoming society, where we speak for hours together about women empowerment and upliftment and implementing them we score a big 0...

Still we say Mera Bharath Mahan

Very sad to say that this scenario will never change in India even after 100 years...

Cricket fever, Indio-Pak match and Politics...!!!

Cricket fever grips the nation...!!!

Today the 30th of March 2011, in the world cup semi finals, India is playing against Pak in Mohali stadium.
While i am writing this article, media has created so much hype in past few days that there is so much hype, expectations on the Indian team and I bet, they would surely disappoint US..

But do we need this much attention to be given to the Cricket Team...are they becoming demi-gods to us..
while all their movements is being watched, while their life styles being emulated but the million dollar question is are they really worthy of getting this much attention...

India is an epitome of the world; and peoples of all religions stay here...and the major target during India-Pak cricket match would be Muslims. Indian constitution guarantess Freedom of speech and expression and if any Indian born muslim says he would like Pakistan to win then he is seen as a traitor...

But the biggest problem is in every metropolitan city in India, there would be great influx of people from neighbouring states, you can take the example of Mumbai (where Xenophobia exists)
Now to take an example of Karnataka, if the IPL cricket match is between Bengalur and Chennai or Bengalur and Hyderabad then we can't expect that people who are from that states will support Bengalur as they are working in Bengalur. A BIG NO...
They would support their home state obviously....
so then why is this feeling that if any muslim says that he wants Pak to win or what is the wrong if they celebrate Pak's victory in India....
This is a million dollar ? which needs to be answered without which India would be plagued with communal tensions and we don't unite as a country but as a state or on basis of language....

During such occassions, Politicians take the mileage...
Our feeble minded PM Mr. Manmohan Singh has invited Pak PM Geelani to watch the cricket match in Mohali...well this is a gud move...but don't we think v r becoming very hypocratic...
we are xtending friendship to one country which has been pricking our heart continously while we are using elite forces for our own sons of the soil who have revolted or rebelled against these Politicians and bureaucracy...We have branded them as Naxalites....
Why don't we extend the same helping hand to these people who are born within India and have rebelled due to these bloody politicians...

Who will tie the bell to the cat's tail...???!!!

We...the people of India and Hypocrisy...

i used to always think about hypocrisy amongst us....but had never given a thought to reduce it 2 writing...now i seriously think that i shld pen down the thoughts...arising about hypocrisy.....

Here are some definitions about Hypocrisy....

the practice of professing standards, beliefs, etc., contrary to one's real character or actual behavior, esp the pretext of virtue and piety;

the condition of a person pretending to be something he is not, especially in the area of morals or religion; a false presentation of belief or feeling;

so Hypocrisy is nothing but saying something and doing something.....

It is difficult to say when did hypocrisy crept in our minds (term 'our' refers to " v the indians")....might b 4m the rule of the english who always beleived in divide and rule policy but boasted about propagating peace in our minds..thy said they came 4 commercial puposes but stayed here 4 more than a couple of hundred years only 2 govern us...
V wer informed tat v would b given freedom but got it only after securing it by fighting and laying blood 4 it....
V had thought tat Hindus and Muslims are like brothers yet they betrayed us by dividing the nation and which is still the bone of contention......between India and Pak;

OR           does it dates back to the primordial times of the mighty kings and emperors where there used to be treacherors in disguise as their loyalists...v have witnessed numerous wars wr the mighty kings have been deceived by their own insiders 4 the reasons best known 2 them....

Now a days hypocrisy has reached the core and kudos to politicians...who at the time of elections say something to garner votes 4m the voters and hardly thy can b seen after elections....

but who is responsible 4 this debacle....v need to ask the same ? to ourselves...it is v who r hypocrats.....b4 if v 4get the politicians 4 a moment nd think about ourselves v r also hypocrites...unless v correct ourselves thr is no way out...v need to get the issue addressed 'coz ultimately it's v who constitute the ppl of India....

If v stop being hypocrats and bcome practical thn v cn create wonders....

Eligibility for Politicians....

        Eligibility for Politicians....

I do not know how many people would agree with me about this rather controversial topic...

They say " The last bit of a scoundrel is to enter politics "
With the current Indian political situation being chaotic and flooded with Scams at the state and the center, somewhere something should be done by someone. At this critical juncture, I think this topic would be more relevant....

India witnessed politicians or leaders of two cadres... one the erst while in the form of Gandhi, Shasthri, Patel, S. Nijalingappa, Kengal Hanumanthaiah so on ...who stood for values and love for people and the country...
Modern India is witnessing another cadre of politicians like Lalu prasad yadav, Narendra modi, A. Raja and Reddy brothers who are there to plunder the various resources of the country and who think utilising public money and causing loss to the exchequer is their fundamental right....

Now, if i take a dig at the current politicians, a small chunk of them are below 40 while the majority of them have crossed 60...
I think in India, the normal age to enter politics has become 60 years by looking at our politicians....
we have leaders who take 10 minutes to put 13 steps or who can never be understood when they speak or who have had any graduation...
we also have leaders who have undergone bypass surgeries, kidney transplant or suffering with various diseases but still thirsty for power...
By the time they get  power they would have crossed the life expectancy age which is 62 years in India...
It's very hard to find leaders of the stature of Rajeev Gandhi who are young and dynamic....in power

The first rule should be to fix the minimum and maximum age to enter politics.

Unlike the current situation, where there is no such rules, people enter politics after 50 years, which is their leisure time in their life and would still be there after they have crossed 70. They know they would get a call from Yama to go to him any time.

1 ) The minimum age could be fixed at 30 years and the maximum age should be 60 years whicch could be xtended by 2 yrs i.e. 62 yrs.

The reason why i have fixed 30 years as minimum age is by this time the individual would be well educated and would have sound knowledge about problems of the society, then the common or civic sense would be established to the core...So even if he starts from the bottom, he has 30 years to his credit to excel in this field....

The maximum age should be 60 or 62 years for this is the time when all our body parts would start shaking like a pendulum and we would not be in a position to comprehend or decide on the matters of the government or the people. The more early we come out, more are the chances for the young and dynamic minds to enter politics or to be in power.

People who come out of politics after 60 years still could be used as guiding force by the young minds in deciding the core issues of the government. These experienced resources who have outstanding abilities and knowledge could be assimilated together in a "think tank" panel.

2) Graduation as minimum academic eligibility...

Hardly we see our leaders who have had graduation as their education. Laloo or Rabdi devi ruled Bihar without having any such eligibility...we can even see the Mayors or Zill Panchayat Presidents governing us though they are illiterates or who do not have ny graduation to their credit...

By the time a person completes graduation, age would be 21 yrs or 22 (4 engineering students) nd 24 ( 4 medical students). The person would have completed 15 yrs of formal education and his knowledge would be well equipped with regards to resolving the issues of the society.
The individual would be able to understand the problem better, think about the solutions and decide, compare the problems with the neighbouring countries and understand the ways they have adopted to resolve these issues.

3)  Maximum term of holding office - 3 terms

If we see our current politicians we can see majority of them being elected by the public for the 6th time or the 7th time to the State Assemblies or to the Parliament. Though they hardly do any work at the constituency, they are elected by the people.
They seldom attend the sessions or even if they attend they would be in deep slumber.

So if we fix their term as 3 terms, then it would be very nice as they would get 15 years ( if the government completes 5 yrs) to attend to the needs of the constituencies....
So even if a person enters politics at 30 yrs and manages to get elected by 35 yrs, then he would have 5 yrs as an MP or MLA. even if he gets elected at the age of 45 years and If he attends to his people's needs, then he would be elected again and again. Such repeated elections could be curtailed to 3 attempts. Such restriction would continue till 60 years which is the maximum age for being in politics and by then he would have completed 3 terms, so thereby both the conditions would be satisfied.

It depends on successful candidates who are elected thrice by the people to prepare a alternative for them during their last term thus identifying new talent and nurturing them so that we do not commit blunders in selecting a rogue to govern us.

In case of Ministers also, this should apply uniformly. A person who has become minister once should be given a chance only twice thus giving him an opportunity to enjoy the fruits of power for 10 yrs. After 2 times, he should not be taken as a minister instead should return to his consistuency to serve his people as a MLA or a MP.

When we have young blood governing us with experienced resources in the think tank guiding them, then we would bridge the gap between the haves and the have-nots and to compete with other countries in every field.
